BalletIn these classes, dancers are taught the basics of dance through a traditional ballet barre, center floor, traveling exercises and combinations. Ballet helps to build strong, flexible bodies, mentally stimulating and is the basis for all dance technique.

  • Sr. Pointe- classes meet twice a week at the Advanced level.
  • Jr. Pointe- classes meet twice a week at the Intermediate level.
  • Pre-Pointe- classes meet twice a week at the Beginning level for the dancer wishing to dance on pointe.  This class is not for the first-time dancer.

JazzFrom beginning to advance levels, the dancer will learn how to stretch and strengthen their muscles by a warm-up including turns, kicks, leaps, and across-the-floor combinations. They will learn different styles and techniques through fun center floor combinations.

TapThese classes will help the dancer learn how to use their feet as an instrument. These exciting classes include a warm-up, across the floor and center combinations. Tap develops agility of legs and feet, sense of rhythm, mental-physical coordination, and the power of concentration.

Contemporary-  Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modernjazzlyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.  Contemporary dance stresses versatility and improvisation, unlike the strict, structured nature of ballet. Contemporary dancers focus on floorwork, using gravity to pull them down to the floor. This dance style is often done in bare feet.

Gymnastics-  Our Gymnastics classes offer instruction of all the apparatus.  These include floor, bars, beam, vault, rings, mushroom, high bar, parallel bars.  Gymnastics levels 2017

Tumbling-   The Tumbling classes focus on tumbling, flexibility, and strength. Students will graduate from basic movements (cartwheels, forward rolls, etc.) to more advanced (back handspring, walk-over, ariel, etc.). Gymnastics levels 2017

Cheer-Cheer classes consist of stunts, cheer, and dance routines. An additional tumbling or gymnastics class is recommended. The cheerleaders perform at a High School Basketball half time, the Dance Recital and are in the Spud Day Parade.

Broadway Babies (2-year-old)- This program focuses on movement, coordination, balance, rhythm, and gentle stretching for your little one.  It is set to song and music. Basic dance steps are taught in ballet, tap and jazz. There will be a “Celebration” at the end of the year for their recital.  So fun!!

3-Year-Old & Preschool Ballet/Jazz-  Sets the beginning and foundation in dance, physical activities, and school readiness.  It provides experience in song and dance, rhythm, coordination, loco motor skills and social skills as in taking turns.

Performance/Competition TEAMS:  Tryouts are the week after the recital.

  • Petite, Jr., Sr. TEAMS- was created to provide talented dancers with more performing experience, in primarily local venues such as ball games, retirement centers, shopping centers and parades.
  • E-TEAM Our older performance TEAM is for dancers who “live, eat, drink and breathe” dance; who hold dance as their most important extra-curricular activity.

Ballroom- This field covers a wide variety of social dance styles including Foxtrot, Swing, Waltz, and Latin styles.  Students are required to find their own partners.  The $32 a month tuition is per couple.

Hip-Hop-Includes a wide range of styles notably breaking, locking, and popping.

Power Tap (Clogging)- Power Tap is a dance that is done in time with the music – It is like traditional clogging but is a fusion of tap and clog and is more modern.

Adult Jazz-Beginning and Intermediate levels of adults are welcome. Have fun and get moving with other adults.

Pound Fitness/Drums Alive- Movements involve drumsticks.  A full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. It fuses cardio, Pilates & isometric movements.

Zumba® Fitness – When participants see a Zumba class in action, they can’t wait to try it. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.

Zumbatomic® – Designed exclusively for kids (ages 4-12), Zumbatomic classes are rockin’, high-energy fitness-parties packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines and all the music kids love, like hip-hop, reggaetón, cumbia and more. Parents love the Zumbatomic program because of the effects it has on kids — increasing their focus and self-confidence, boosting metabolism, and enhancing coordination. The Zumbatomic program rounds out family fitness goals by giving parents a great reason to head to the gym – for themselves, for their kids, for a fun family experience.
